yea.....leave it to the media to rag on a genre which is often misunderstood. Sure, violence is bad, but dammit, stay on topic. Anyone could potentially do something like this, whether it's a nerd, a prep, a rocker, whatever.
Wikipedia: Goth - for some interesting reading. Goth is not about violence, and what you see on TV. These supposed "goths" around school campus are merely post-punk, dressing to impress someone.
